Why we built nex-calc and what drives us
nex-calc is a free Indian personal finance calculator site. We cover everything from EMI to income tax to SIP returns — all updated for FY 2025–26 and built to be genuinely useful without requiring a login, an app download, or sitting through ads.
Why nex-calc?
Most financial calculators in India are either behind paywalls, full of distracting ads, or give results without explaining them. We wanted to build something different — a clean, fast, transparent set of tools where you can understand why the number is what it is, not just what it is.
Every calculator on nex-calc shows a full breakdown. The EMI calculator shows principal vs. interest. The income tax calculator explains old vs. new regime side by side. The in-hand salary calculator accounts for PF, professional tax, and TDS — not just a single deduction percentage.
What we cover
We currently offer 25 calculators across four categories: Salary & Tax, Loans & EMI, Savings & Investments, and Tax & GST. We add new tools regularly based on what people actually search for.
